In Knoxville, 1915, West Chester-born Samuel Barber sets James Agee’s nostalgic text about being child in a world of grown-ups. We’ll be joined by Lisa Willson DeNolfo, who previously performed brilliantly with the orchestra in works by Strauss and Wagner.
The Lansdowne Symphony’s amazing 2023-24 season concludes with the brilliant Second Symphony of Jean Sibelius.
